Gateway Theatre Guild

The Gateway Theatre Guild participates in the advancement of education by providing structured learning activities such as workshops lectures instructional seminars and mentoring about the art of theatre and by providing opportunities for community members including students to develop their crafts or skills in conjunction with these learning activities through participation in theatre productions and the public presentation or performance of their theatre works; the advancement of education by providing bursaries awards or other forms of financial assistance for graduating high school students promising college or university students and other community members intending to pursue further learning in theatre or performing arts and by sponsoring professional development opportunities and festival entry fees related to theatre or performing arts; and the advancement of the public’s appreciation of the arts by producing public art exhibitions presentations and performance in the art of theatre and by providing a forum for qualified artists to exhibit their works.
