Fusion: the Ontario Clay and Glass Association

Fusion: the ontario clay and glass association (the 'association' or 'fusion') is a not-for-profit organization incorporated in 1975 under the laws of the province of ontario without share capital and is a registered charity under the income tax act (canada). The association's mandate is to encourage and promote quality in clay and glass and to provide educational resources and community based programming. -offer scholarships to ontario clay and glass artists; -provide web space for clay and glass artists to post images for web presence; -maintain a study collection of clay objects and videos for educational and research purposes; -produce and distribute a monthly newsletter; publish and distribute literature concerning clay and glass issues; -provide annual conference venue for members and non-members to participate in demonstrations and workshops to the general public; -host annual pottery and glass show to showcase work and provide demonstrations by member artists to the general public; -host annual pottery and glass show to showcase work and provide demonstrations by member artists to the general public; -provide guildance to regional guilds whose objectives are similar to those of the corporation; -provide mentorship fro professionals in the field;
