Fundy Winds Society

We held fishing days for seniors. We held learn to fish days for youth and family members. We hosted class outdoor education field trip day learning centers for fishing plant and animal identification importance of marshland ecosystems dykes movement of our bodies in the outdoors. We chose a bursary recipient (but did not award the funds due to the recipient not actually attending post secondary institution). We preformed major dyke restoration project with the help of Ducks Unlimited Canada for a section of dyke that was in need and part of the entrance area to dyke trails. We hosted numerous community groups who provided outdoor education and physical activity programs at Fundy Winds Marsh. We provided accessible trails and tours for individuals with mobility concerns. We are improving ecosystem area for reptiles tadpoles to frogs and other which are native to the area in a way which will also help educated visitors of the important roles these animals play in the overall ecosystem balance.
