Friends of the North Vancouver Museum and Archives Society

The friends of the north vancouver museum and archives society acts as advocates for the advancement of community history education and advancing the public's appreciation for cultural heritage. The friends society is actively supporting and building community awareness for the new museum of the north vancouver which opened in the heart of the lower lonsdale cultural district in 2021. As a registered charity and membership organization it also supports financially and through its volunteers the work of the north vancouver museum and archives in delivering its educational programs exhibitions and community events; and assists in funding books on local history.
