Friends of the Chatham Pipes and Drums

Continued to support the branch 642 royal canadian legion pipe band. Facilitated no cost training for students young and old on piping and drumming. We continue to participate in many local parades and events as well as participating in the 2024 legion national convention parade in new brunswick. We will assist the band in 2025 as they will take part in the 80th liberation of holland events. We are looking at focusing more on internal and outside training for current and new members as well as uniform replacement. Plans may start to focus on the 2026 legion national convention which will be held in winnipeg.
