Fraser Valley Brain Injury Association

FVBIA provides case management services as well as social/recreation drop-in centres/leisure programs throughout the Fraser Valley of British Columbia. FVBIA offers a variety of programs including Pay it Forward: Health and Wellness for ABI program (artworks photography walking group wellness & safety workshops) summer art programs as well as brain injury prevention and awareness activities. 15-20 volunteers provide support to through Drop in/leisure centres Young at Arts Summer camp wellness workshop facilitation peer support and fundraising activities. FVBIA has a Corrections Liaison Program that provides information and support for people with acquired brain injuries who are incarcerated. FVBIA's Board of Directors consists of 8 dedicated members who are professional/family members as well as people who have acquired brain injuries.
