Foothills Land Trust

Volunteers and Directors donated over 100 hour to programs including conservation property monitoring and property assessments. These hours were in addition to normal Board and Officer duties. The Foothills Land Trust has a total of eight (8) conservation easements that is manages and administers and was working on one new conservation easements during 2024. Significant volunteer hours during the year were used to manage the existing conservation easement properties conduct property health assessments (range land and riparian assessments) and pursuing new conservation easements. One new conservation easement is being pursued for environmental protection in 2024. Funding approval was received in early 2023. During 2024 the land trust organization installed wildlife monitoring cameras on a few of its conservation properties.
