The foundation's objects are to apply the income and capital of the foundation for charitable purposes by distributing it to qualified donees as defined in the income tax act that are engaged in orthopaedic research or training. The foundation will promote health by providing access to orthopaedic surgery physiotherapy services and walking aides to individuals with mobility impairments who are in need. The foundation will apply for government and third party grants and donate the grant proceeds to qualified donees that are engaged in orthopaedic research or training. The foundation will pay for the cost of orthopaedic surgery physiotherapy and/or walking aides for individuals in need that are selected through an application process. The application will consider such factors as financial hardship degree of mobility impairment and likelihood of recovery.
