First United Baptist Church

1) On Sundays we lead worship services & children's/youth programs. Throughout the week we provide bible study prayer support & fellowship through youth & adult small groups. We provide group ministries for children/youth of various ages and adult women & men weekly/monthly. 2) We share with other churches in the leadership of worship services in seniors' residential homes monthly. 3) We share in the operation of a denominational summer children's/youth camp in northern NS for recreational & spiritual growth. 4) We provide pastoral &/or layperson counselling/mentoring/visitation for members of all ages of our church family as well as others in our communities on an ongoing daily basis. 5) We provide monetary assistance to needy persons in our church family & beyond on an ongoing basis. 6) We organize various outreach activities in order to touch our extended community & share our Christian faith in practical ways. 7) We occasionally organize community outreach programs along with other likeminded churches. 8) We contribute financially & spiritually to Canadian &international missions both directly & via our Atlantic denominational headquarters.
