First Step

First step advances access to health care by providing financial assistance for medical travel to people living on the northern tip of newfoundland's northern peninsula (ntnnp). To carry out this purpose first step pays part of the community members' medical travel expenses such as gasoline meals lodging airfare and other expenses related to medical travel.
