First Lutheran Church

Conducting church worship and spreading the Word of God. Facilitating Vacation Bible School and Confirmation Class instruction for youth and adults as required. Providing Christain resources through our church website online church service videos and publications from the Lutheran synod. Visitations and / or personal counselling to the sick & shut-ins in local hospitals nursing homes and members' homes. Maintaining a cemetery and providing burial services. Funds are sent to the LCC church synod headquarters in Winnipeg and other qualified and non-qualified donees to enable them to carry on their work of spreading the Word of God domestically and internationally and/or helping those in need. A food bank is operated in our sister church in Monkton ON to help those who experience food insecurity. This is a non-qualified donee. Our church members have supported this effort through food donations and financial gifts.
