First Church of Christ Scientist

To provide regular sunday church series and midweek meetings open to the public. The latter includes readings from the bible and from the christian science textbook science and health with key to the scriptures by mary baker eddy on current subjects of community and world concern. This meeting provides an opportunity for those studying christian science to share experiences remarks and testimonies of healing through christian science practice. A sunday school is available at the same time as the sunday morning church service for young people to the age of twenty. A christian science reading room and bookstore is maintained at 415 pelissier street windsor in the downtown. It is open to all for individual study prayer questions or to purchase bibles science and health or christian science magazines. Hours are posted on the door and include saturday mornings during the saturday downtown market. A free literature box is replenished regularly beside the front door. Free literature is also provided to the jail for their library.
