First Baptist Church

1. We hold worship services weekly and on special occasions 2. We provide pastoral care 3. We donate funds to denomination headquarters for overseas missionary activities and expansion and support of churches in canada 4. We donate funds for worldwide relief endeavors through canadian baptist ministries and baptist women's ministry 5. We support the local food bank and assist with meals for those with limited resources 6. We provide benevolent funding to those in need in our community 7. We provide weekly digital worship support for those unable to attend in-person services 8. We provide a free sunday supper once a month to those in our community (every fourth sunday). Other area churches cover the other sundays of the month. We also provide lunch every second saturday of the month at the local warming centre for homeless and those with food insecurities. 1. We partnered with queencare a local charity whose goal is to educate equip and encourage women through pregnancy and early postpartum by allowing them use of the downstairs areas of the church including the large fellowship hall three other separate rooms the kitchen and two bathrooms at no charge to their organization.
