Gender equality finca cantaros environmental association (fcea) is a grassroots non profit organization based in coto brus southern costa rica dedicated to environmental education and community-based conservation. Our work centers on three interconnected pillars: forest landscape restoration birds and gender. Through inclusive intergenerational programming we engage women children and local communities in hands-on learning and stewardship experiences. From restoring critical habitat for migratory and resident bird species to empowering women through regenerative agriculture and environmental leadership fcea fosters resilience biodiversity and a shared ethic of care for the land.
