Families matter cooperative provides educational networking and learning opportunities to build the capacity of families assisting adult loved ones with developmental disabilities so they can live full and inclusive lives. Ongoing programs include: various workshops seminars and networking opportunities for parents whose adult children have developmental disabilities and are leaving school. The workshops are meant to assist parents in planning for the future. Video vignettes: a series of dynamic and informative short videos exploring innovative housing options for persons living with an intellectual/developmental disabilitiy. Each segment includes practical content and key information on independent living semi-independent home-sharing and cluster living.
