Families for addiction recovery (far) operates a parent-to-parent support program which provides peer support over the phone by parents with lived experience for parents whose children are struggling with addiction as well as group peer support and a phone support line. Far maintains a website (farcanada.org) which provides extensive educational materials about addiction treatment for substance use disorder (sud) support for families and other issues involving sud.
