Fairy Godparents-London

Fairy godparents-london hosted our annual holiday toy drive. We registered 191 kids and spent $40/child using monetary donations from the community or gave them an age appropriate toy donated by the community. Fairy godparents-london also ran the ongoing period equity project which serves a population of female folks or trans men who menstruate. We provided a box of menstrual products or a menstrual cup or reusable menstrual pads based on what our project has from community donations or monetary donations. Our dozen volunteers spend their time intaking donations that come to us from donors on social media. They also organize the donations in their home and distribute to recipients of the project who contact us through social media and demonstrate financial need. Our newest program is the greyson jones memorial scholarship that was founded for trans youth attending post secondary school in ontario.
