Extend-A-Family

Extend-a family offers a comprehensive range of support services in a flexible and accessible manner to children and young people with disabilities and their families. The organization is committed to creating opportunities for children and youth with disabilities to be connected contributing members of their communities and the city of toronto. Extend-a-family involves children youth and/or parents as collaborative partners in the process. Services are provided in a confidential manner and include a comprehensive range of partnerships. Eleven coordinators service 325 clients annually. Facilitating meaningful relationships community involvement advocacy support groups and education workshops.
