Expression Lasalle Centre Communautaire En Sante Mentale

The centre provides free weekly group and individual psychological support services to an adult population who are living with mental health problems in the local community. The centre specializes in the creative arts therapies: art therapy dance/movement therapy drama therapy and music therapy. We also provide traditional verbal counselling services and workshops on relaxation and meditation. The centre provided eight (8) new group therapies and thirteen(13) individual services due to funding from ``the echo foundation`` and the participation of one(1) creative therapist and four (4) additional students and volunteers to the team this year: weekly groups: two (2) art therapy four(4) drama therapy groups one (1) mindfulness relaxation and one(1) dance/movement therapy group. Individual sessions per week: two (2) art therapy three(3) counselling six(6) drama therapy and two (2) music therapy
