Epilepsy Association of the Maritimes

The epilepsy association of maritimes (eam) is a registered canadian charity that supports individuals living with epilepsy in the maritimes. Formed in 1980 eam serves adults and children with epilepsy their families friends and the community at large. We seek to promote a better understanding of this common neurological condition through public education to schools employers and first responders; awareness through our purple day activities throughout the year; programs to improve the lives of persons living with epilepsy; advocacy and support groups as well as support research. Eam offers scholarships and bursaries each year to students living with epilepsy and we encourage all to apply. Eans also offers services to new brunswick and pei as needed.
