Engage and Change

We hold two events annually: Project Winter Survival (January 2024) and Project Water (June 2024). For each of this programs our corporate sponsors send their employees as volunteers to pack 3 500 kits that are distributed through social agencies in the GTA and Southwestern Ontario to homeless people living primarily on the streets. The winter kit is comprised of a sturdy backpack containing a toque scarf winter gloves and thick socks hygiene items such as deodorant soap toothbrush & toothpaste lip balm Band-Aids tissue moisturizer sanitizer masks etc. along with a refillable water bottle towel a food snack and water and an activity item such as a puzzle book or deck of playing cards notepad and pen. A winter kit also includes a sleeping bag. The summer kit is comprised of a cinch bag containing a T-shirt towel sunscreen ball cap and the same type of hygiene products. We also distribute 300 000+ bottles of water.
