Energy safety canada helps companies identify and assess their workplace hazards then systematically develop hazard controls to protect workers namely through the certificate of recognition program a validated health and safety management system 3. Energy safety canada through the advisory committee uses an issues proposal process which enables the six industry associations and energy safety canada staff to identify and prioritize new health and safety issues and initiatives. 4. Energy safety canada facilitates in collaboration with industry the creation and distribution of safety and technical publications collection and distribution of safety alerts and information bulletins and industry injury information analysis.
