Information is provided to the general public through news media engagement social media postings public hikes and presentations in order to increase the general public's knowledge and awareness of the extinction and climate crises. Continuing to meet with key stakeholders and potential allies educating them about how expanding protected areas will address the extinction and clmate crises. An outreach campaign to mobilize support for the expansion of protected areas in bc among local businesses non-profits organizations faith groups outdoor recreation groups and unions. A series of documentary videos on the unique ecosystems found in canada to highlight their biodiversity challenges and success stories encountered in their conservation. Supported regional partners engaging and supporting first nations and other land-embedded communities in their transitions away from extractive industries to green sustainable economies linked to new or expanded protected areas.
