Elders and Angels

Last year Elders and Angels were able to achieve their goals by helping seniors with disabilities by providing them with a variety of services that could aid them in their everyday life. Through the removal of snow mowing lawns spring clean-ups fall clean-ups and housekeeping we were able to give assistance to seniors in need of our services. Elders and Angels staff and volunteers contributed over 8 000 hours in supporting our seniors to have a meaningful life. The most needed program that seniors required were programs such as house-cleaning mowing lawns and most importantly snow removal. We were able to gather a few volunteers who were willing and able to provide essential services for seniors and people with disabilities. We also took into consideration other programs that seniors suggested that would make their life much easier; therefore we have tailored our programs to meet the needs of seniors and people with disabilities living in Edmonton. We have added home care services to our specified programs such as companionship meal preparation medication reminders respite care etc. We continue to serve our seniors with humanity kindness and respect as we also prioritize privacy. Elders and Angels for some years now have become a cornerstone for many seniors. Elders and Angels will continue to support and provide unique services that will ensure social inclusion emotional well-being and productive and meaningful living for all our seniors in Edmonton! We embrace the quality of life and quality of care The new program we have added that we were not able to carry out is setting up a group home which will support individuals with disabilities. This program will materialize possibly in the upcoming fiscal year. We continue to enhance ourselves every year to make sure that we are providing services that are unique and supportive to our community.
