The edson friendship centre is an indigenous cultural community development organization providing support services to indigenous and non-indigenous people of the edson area. Their objectives are to identify and provide support whenever possible to the social cultrual educationsl and recreational needs of the indigenous and non-indigenous of edson and area as such needs are ascertained. To initiate community action in respect to those needs set forth to promote and enhance community participation by people of indigenous and non-indigenous descent and to promote better understanding and relations between indigenous and non-indigenous people.
