Esms assisted newcomers to canada and the homeless with food used clothes and other related required items. There was no parade instead we organized various activities in thompson memorial park in scarborough in line with the city guidelines. Various cultural activities workshops and seminars via zoom and in-person for our youths adults and the elderly citizens. On a weekly basis we assisted some of our elderly citizens to and from various churches within gta. Provided referral services to new immigrants to gta and other parts of ontario. We assisted the less privileged in our community within gta. All the above programs are ongoing in nature and will be continued in the future. No new programs initiated in 2024 due to lack of funding from heritage canada. However the existing programs were modified in compliance with the updated health and other guidelines. We will continue to ensure that our established programs are fully implemented on a yearly basis based on our financial situation for the benefit of our community.
