ENC provides programs services and information to support newcomers help them find and access the resources and training needed to enhance their integration and settlement . Core pillars of our programs focus on Employment Services Settlement Services Language Services and Community Programs. ENC services provide training and education for newcomers to develop skills and find employment. We provide services for newcomers and their family in facilitating their settlement into Canada which might include social work or therapeutic services. ENC provides language training and instruction to newcomers. The Empowered Communities programs that ENC provides facilitates connections for our clients. Our Enhanced Settlement Workers in Schools program supports children and youth within the school system. Support for Kids and Youth (aka SKY Club) has activities and learning opportunities for school-age children to integrate into school culture. Civic Engagement for Newcomer Youth is a program for newcomer youth to develop as community leaders. Safe Families provides adults with skills to deal with family issues absent physical or emotional means. Wintergration offers newcomers the opportunity to enjoy Canadian winters. Our Global Garden program is a community-based project which enables food security for participants. Rainbow Refuge creates community for LGBTQ2+S newcomers. Conversation Circles and New Horizon for Seniors allows older newcomers the opportunity to network. SkillUp is a program that provides newcomers with construction skills training.
