Provided crises counselling and short-term counselling/support for abused east indian women and their children and youth. Provided long-term family support/counselling and interpreter services for east indian women and their children and youth. Provided legal advocacy/interpreter services for clients explained their legal rights supported clients to follow through with process and interpreted with their lawyers and prosecutors. Provided telephone crisis counselling interventions short-term counselling for couples at risk supported abused east indian women and their children to leave abusive relationships that they were forced to stay in due to the covid pandemic by educating and explaining their legal rights legal advocacy/interpreter services helping to find resources and safe shelter and financial supports. Educated and explained to 100's of people in the general public as well as professionals about the services we provide for abused east indian women and their children and the east indian culture in relation to issues of family violence. Provided crises and short-term support and counselling legal advocacy and resources to abused women and their children as well as abused men from other cultures. Provided a listening ear for persons in the general public who just wanted to talk about their personal experiences of abuse from their childhood or as adults.
