The purposes of the corporation are: 1) to advance education by providing publicly available scholarships bursaries and other forms of financial assistance to students to attend post-secondary education institutions. 2) to support economic growth and leadership development by operating a program inclusive of business training and support designed to enable youth to transition successfully into employment and entrepreneurial roles in their communities. 3) to protect the environment for the benefit of the public by conserving or restoring ecosystems and promoting behaviour changes to strengthen climate change mitigation adaptation and resilience. 4) to advance education by providing workshops training programs seminars conferences educational aids and related support on topics related to business development economic development skills development entrepreneurship agricultural production marketing financial literacy career skills and gender equality. 5) to advance education by providing a professional development and/or leadership program that involves training workshops and fellowships for post-secondary students and recent graduates which furthers their understanding of entrepreneurship and supports them in transitioning to employment.
