Early Music Society of the Islands

The society carries out the following programs: Presentation of concerts of music written before 1850 and performed in an historically informed manner on original instruments. Presentation of talks and workshops designed to promote an understanding and appreciation of the origins of the music of Western and non-Western music. Support for local musicians who wish to self-produce early music concerts. Communications designed to reach out to and encourage new audiences to discover early music.
