Kids first program - provides home visiting to strengthen the parent/child relationship from ages zero to three years head start program - provides an accelerated pre-school preparation program for three and four year old aboriginal children cognitive disability program - provides assistance and education to adults with cognitive disabilities in developing basic life and social skills life skills/youth mentoring program - provides life skill training to youth/young mothers transitioning out of long term care/foster care visitation supervision and transportation program - provides supervised/moniored visits at the family learning place or in the family home family support program - provides support to families and their children through culturally appropriate and holistic healing and preventative serivces growing together initiative - is a partnership between scep and aboriginal family services. Child development specialists hired by each agency work with families where children are presenting serious behavioral issues. Kidz carts program - provides reliable transportation to children in protective custody with the ministry of social services such as out of city home/family visits and to local schools and day care. Family support diversion - provides support to families and children through culturally appropriate holistic healing and preventative services.
