About Dyslexia Canada
We provide workshops and programs for teachers educators libraries and parents on how to recognize and support a student with dyslexia. We also provide information and evidence-based research to educational professionals on effective identification and reading instruction for all students to aid in discussions of curriculum and educational change. We coordinate and conduct research into awareness of and availability of supports for students with dyslexia. We offer mentoring programs for caregivers and events and workshops for children on topics to support their growth. We have begun to offer resources to assist teachers with delivering evidence-based literacy instruction to all children and to better identify and support children with dyslexia at school through a new website ONlit.org.
