Durham christian home society inc. (the 'society') was incorporated without share capital on april 9 2010 under the laws of the province of ontario. The society is a not-for-profit organization and is exempt from income taxes provided certain requirements are met. The society was approved for charitable status from the canada revenue agency on january 1 2015. The purpose of the society is to advance the quality of life of seniors in need in durham region within a christ centred christian community by providing special housing and long term care opportunities for participation in religious services etc
