Full programming resumed Regular programming - Provide musical theatre experience for children and families North Bay & area – develop appreciation for performing arts –strengthen community partnerships – enhance quality of life – build confidence and skill in young performers. Family show –full 2 act musical-adults/children perform together-cast of 70-all ages-rehearse Sept to Dec-perform in Dec – 4 shows over 4 days-up to 30 volunteers contribute 40 or more hours each Large cast children’s winter show-full two act musical-cast of 90 children gr 3 to 8-rehearse Sep to Jan-perform in Jan-present 7 shows over 5 days-2 evenings to public and 5 daytime shows for area schools in a 950 seat venue-parent/family student volunteer hours total over 3 000 Christmas 1 act musical 40 minutes or less-cast of 15-20 children gr 1-8 with little experience-connect with High School co-op program and SHSM to provide learning of production duties-Perform1 public show-admission donation to local Food Bank. 5-10 volunteers at 60+ hours each. Spring show-full 2 act musical-cast of 40-60children gr 1-8 – rehearse Feb to May-perform in May at 450 seat venue-provide student community member volunteer opportunities100+ hours Summer program-30 children gr 1-8 – provide day camp setting 5 week program - 3 single weeks workshop style skill building plus a 2 week program learning full one act musical– perform 3 shows – student volunteers priority 75+hours. All programs qualify for sponsorship through participation fund for families that require assistance with challenges including transportation special needs care fees. Bursary award to qualifying secondary students attending arts based or education based post secondary study. Community Outreach - participation in a variety of activities to assist the city of North Bay and surrounding communities as well as other charities and NPO with fundraising and arts activities No new programming offered
