Doaktown Community-School Library Board

We provide library services to our community and surrounding areas. The following programs were offered in 2024: Chair Exercises Puzzles Bridge Craft Nights Science East Programs Library Seed Program Doaktown Elementary School Class Visits Preschool Playgroup Read-to-Ride Summer Reading Club and Literacy tutoring. The library held a pumpkin growing and pie baking contest and provides space for a daily morning coffee crew to socialize. We also offer technology services and curbside pick-up. In partnership with Horizon Health we were able to offer numerous health and wellness programs including nutrition information sessions and eVisitNB tutorials. Through a partnership with Service Canada we were able to offer presentations on the Canadian Dental Care Plan OAS and CPP. We have introduced weekly French classes and a weekly diamond art group.
