1. Christmas Program - distribute food/gift cards toys 2. Counseling Program - assess refer provide financial assistance for professional counselling services 3. Emergency Assistance Program - provide fuel food clothing prescriptions household goods and referrals 4. Meals on Wheels - deliver hot meals 3 times per week to elderly sick and shut-ins 5. Medical Transportation - provide transportation to medical appointments 6. Recreation Assistance - provide financial assistance to youth and children to attend recreational programs 7. Haven House - provide and maintain physical premises for women and children fleeing domestic violence 8. Thrift Store - reuse and recycle donated goods in the community 9. Child/Youth/Family programs - various free programs for those children youth and families with challenges or needs 10. Seniors programs - provide assessment and support of physical emotional and financial needs for seniors as well as family support 11. Volunteer Income Tax Program - prepare basic tax returns for free to for low income individuals and families 12. Better at Home Program - provides support services such as visits light housekeeping light yardwork grocery shopping and minor repairs to allow seniors to stay at home and in the community as long as possible 13. Oceanside Task Force on Homelessness - employ a coordinator to establish support and service provider networks and develop housing strategy 14. Homeless Prevention Program - connects the homeless and those at risk of homelessness with housing services rental subsidies and referrals 15. Homeless Partnering Strategy - financial aid & supports to those at risk of homelessness who have a demonstrated need
