Diocesan Synod of Western Newfoundland

Taking care of spiritual emotional and physical needs of the people in the parishes and spread of 'word of god'. Maintenance and upkeep of 2 churches a rectory and several cemeteries in the two parishes. Provide confirmation and provide the needy with special visits. There are weekly services in both parishes. A committee of clergy and laity for visiting the sick and shut-ins in their homes and hospital visits. Drop in at the rectory has been established. Food hampers are distributed to the families who are low income through christmas and when necessary throughout the year.
