Delta Stroke Recovery Society

Provides service to stroke-affected families following discharge from hospital and/or rehabilitation. Weekly meetings for stroke survivors and families offering professional speech therapy social interaction and mind-stimulation exercises. Provide professionally supervised physical therapy and training for stroke survivors. as well as periodic music therapy sessions. Periodic outings for social interaction pot luck lunches and other social activities. Provide educational material and sponsor community special events and workshops to inform the public about stroke recovery. Provide in-house training for volunteers to assist in the speech language program and the fitness session. Perk activities.
