Debwendon Inc.

Debwendon Inc's program involves the promotion and preservation of the Brokenhead Wetland Interpretive Trail. Volunteers of the organization manage and oversee seasonal operations (May-October) including the repair and maintenance of the trailhead and boardwalk etc. Debwendon volunteers also conduct interpreted tours of the trail and wetland. Due to COVID-19 there were no tours conducted in 2021. Debwendon volunteers initiated and project managed the construction of a picnic shelter and shed that was built at the trailhead. Activities included completing and submitting grant applications calling for quotes and managing the contract. This was a one-time program.
