Days for Girls Canada Society

Volunteers sew components which are combined with some purchased items such as underwear and washcloths to create sustainable washable menstrual hygiene kits for menstruators in canada and around the world who would otherwise go without. In some cases the washable components are combined with some disposable components for menstrual cups to create hybrid kits for distribution locally in canada. The menstrual hygiene kits are always distributed with a health and safety education program. Days for girls canada society changed their purpose in 2020 to allow for volunteer chapters and teams to support social enterprises in other countries. Chapters and teams wishing to do so must get approval from the board of days for girls canada society and meet both social and fiduciary responsibilities.
