Dance Victoria Society

Dance victoria presented a season of live performances in 2023-24. The second full season return to live performances since the pandemic began. The society held pre-shore talks before all live performances thereby enhancing the dance knowledge of the participants. The society operates dance studios for the benefit of the local dance community by offering multiple residencies to local regional provincial and national dance artists. Our residencies support multiple artists creating solo duo and group works hoping to stabilize the local dance milieu. Some of these artists in residence went on to do in-studio performances of their works-in-progress through the society's rough cuts program.
