CureSPG50

The existing and continuous initiative aimed to financially support the treatment of numerous children in the US at UTSW using SPG50. CureSPG50 was responsible for both the development and financing of this treatment. With no more affected children in Canada three children – one from Spain and two others from the US – underwent treatment. Extra funds were utilized to sustain the necessary payments for UTSW operations and fulfill outstanding commitments. 1)To advance education by conducting and/or funding research into the causes and treatments of rare diseases. 2) To promote health by providing necessary health care and accessibility products and services to relieve health conditions for people living with rare diseases in Canada and abroad. 3) To advance education by funding clinical trials of drugs for people living with rare diseases to prevent or relieve their health conditions. 4) To receive and maintain a fund or funds and to apply all or part of the principal and income therefrom from time to time to qualified donees as defined in subsection 149.1(1) of the Income Tax Act (Canada).
