To establish & undertake in the area over which the cvca has jurisdiction a program to further the conservation restoration development & management of natural resources other than gas oil & minerals. To control water levels & conduct water level monitoring throughout the watershed. To provide flood forecasting & warning. To maintain & develop conservation authority lands for public use & enjoyment. To protect environmentally significant areas within the watershed
