Through the joint ministry agreements crista canada (ccan) helped provide 24-hour christian radio programming to lower british columbia. Furthermore through the joint ministry agreements ccan worked in villages through african middle east southeast asia and haiti. That work included improving basic education and providing health related training in kenya and south sudan providing small business loans to individuals in bangladesh and offering health services in bangladesh myanmar uganda and somalia. Ccan improved water sources raised awareness of the importance of hygiene and sanitation and increased community development in myanmar. Ccan provided community-led and savings-and-loans programs in democratic republic of the congo to help vulnerable populations. Ccan partnered with local non-government organization in yemen to rpovide access to clean water sources empowering women and teachers with income generation and restoring school activities for children as well as literacy support for vulnerable women. Ccan also had an integrated multi-sectoral project focused on maternal and child health child education wash gender equality disaster risk reduction food security livelihoods and spiritual develoment of poor and marginalized families in bangladesh. Ccan provided relief in haiti. Finally ccan began a project to strengthen the missional capacity of local staff and churches in least-reached countries in both africa and asia.
