Cowichan Musical Society

Presented matilda the musical to over 4000 patrons using 100+ volunteers. Rehearsals began in september 2023 and continued until the show was performed in january and february of 2024. We have initaited a scholarship program for cms members (15-29) who wish to study the performing arts. We continue to support local arts organizations such as the clements centre (people with disabilities) and the cowichan musical festival a local showcase for those studying the performing arts in the valley. We have developed a costume inventory application to help us track 40+ years worth of costumes and to allow us to more easily rent them to local arts groups. We rent out costumes and equipment to local o charities at reduced rates.
