Cosmo is a ‘community of communities’ each having a different focus. Cosmo gives everyone a choice and an opportunity to find a niche that utilizes their special abilities along with a peer group supports and nourishes them. Cosmo supports and provides vocational work non-vocational activities and support options for the full spectrum of adults with intellectual disabilities. These diverse opportunities allow participants many options. Cosmo has three satellite locations that were opened as a base for community programs to expand opportunities for training business and work/ employment development and numerous life skills and quality of life opportunities. The vipond golf classic a charitable tournament to raise funds in support of community services for adults with intellectual and/ or multiple disabilities was cancelled in 2020 due to covid-19 but was brought back for the 2023 fiscal year
