Coro Vivo Ottawa Inc (Formerly Blackburn Chorus Inc)

Cvo advances the public's understanding and appreciation of the arts by presenting and informing on a varied choral music program to a broad audience. Key to cvo's success is the promotion & inclusion of local and young canadian artists (from composers to soloists to orchestras). Further community involvement includes a 'sing-out' program that brings music performances to persons in seniors ' residences and in other community locations (when health safety allows). Approximately 45-50 members contribute more than 7000 volunteer hours each year to the organization. We also hold workshops to advance member music education and artistic performance
