To advance the public's appreciation of the arts through classical music orchestral instrumental voice and choral dance and visual arts by providing outstanding performances of classical music orchestral instrumental voice and choral dance and visual arts for the public; financial and artistic support for unique interpretations and new compositions for public appreciation; performances live online and otherwise that would enable participation by audiences that may not normally be able to attend or access regular performances; financial and artistic support to emerging artists and exceptional ensembles in the production distribution and promotion to the public through all available media channels; and for the creation of a fund or funds that will apply all or part of the principal and income therefrom from time to time to qualified donees as defined in subsection 149.1(1) of the income tax act (canada) with similar purposes and objectives.
