Concerts in Care Ontario

Concerts in Care Ontario provides high-quality high-impact live concerts by professional musicians to senior citizens living in retirement residences long-term care facilities supportive housing and active living programs throughout Ontario. The effect of our programming on audiences who frequently suffer isolation and loneliness as well as their caregivers and healthcare staff can be transformational; the power of music to elicit memory engage emotions and create connections enhances quality-of-life for all participants. Concerts in Care Ontario offers professional pre-recorded concert videos and 'live' Zoom concert experiences to reach seniors in areas of the province not currently served by our in-person programming; efforts begun in 2023 to expand our performance networks into Indigenous rural and other under-served communities are continuing successfully. Concerts in Care Ontario also engages in research projects with both academic and healthcare partners.
