Community Safety Initiatives Thunder Bay

Community safety initiatives thunder bay is concerned with the safety of the community and betterment of the neighbourhood. Some of the projects include: -mckellar neighbourhood pollution-trash pickets and cleaning the back lanes with volunteer youth -lighting project-contracting thunder bay hydro and requesting lighting (motion detection) to be located in the back lane on may street in order to reduce crime -painting garbage cans- to decorate and brighten up the neighbourhood -dirty needle deposit- getting needles off the streets to prevent infectious diseases -doing projects with youth to reduce crime
